Allianz Bajaj customers base crosses 3 lakh in just 29 Months |

Allianz Bajaj Life Insurance Company Ltd., a joint venture between Allianz AG of Germany and Bajaj Auto , achieved a unique distinction by acquiring over 3 lakh customers in a short period of just 29 months, since the commencement of its operations in October 2001. Allianz Bajaj crossed this mark on 27th February 2004.
This achievement has also made Allianz Bajaj the 2nd private life insurance company in the country to cross this landmark of increasing its customer base. Allianz Bajaj has been acquiring over 1,00,000 new customers almost every 6 months, making it the fastest growing private life insurance company in India.
Commenting on this achievement, Sam Ghosh, CEO, Allianz Bajaj and also the Country Manager said, "The key contributors of this success, in such a short period, were our emphasis on market development and aggressive penetration. It also emphasizes the performance of Allianz Bajaj as one of the leaders in the life insurance industry in India. The other contributor for such a fast growth is the launch of as many as 7 new products in the last 6 months. "
